Ten dairy farmers from the Bay of Plenty and Waikato took part in a 2 year trial funded by Our Land and Water focusing on their farm's soil (see video of Miah & Jenny Smith and Matt Rout below). Hear from Bay of Plenty farmer Matt Rout about his experiences and reflections.

Supported by other leading farmers, pastoral scientists and Maori knowledge, how did they do things differently? What did this do for herd health? Did these farmers get more time off and feel less stressed? And did it lead to farm business savings or any diffference in profitability and resilience on-farm?

For the first time, the data is being shared with farmers.
