Deane Parker

Visual Storyteller & Video Content Creator Deane Parker has a background in adventure tourism and outdoor recreation that helped hone the inquisitive mind he's put to good use since entering farming on his wife Melissa's family dairy farm. And that he now applies to his work with Quorum Sense.

With a strong passion for videography and visual storytelling, Deane regularly produces adventure films for film festivals and online audiences. When not working on the farm or for Quorum Sense, you'll most likely find him at the pointy end of a mountain bike trail or rafting a set of rapids, often with his family alongside.

Deane and Melissa run a grass-fed, A2 milk supply dairy herd with the focus now firmly on building a self-contained, low input system. A big part of that involves transitioning the pasture to multi species, and doing the same with winter cropping. Deane is the visual storyteller and video content creator at Quorum Sense. His combination of videography skills and farming knowledge make him ideally suited to the role of visually documenting the network's farmer case studies, field days and Quorum Exchange events.
