Gerry Gillespie has an incredibly diverse background focused on innovative solutions to managing what we generally refer to as 'waste'. He has worked in NZ and Australia leading a number of both government and community projects and in recent years has developed a scalable low-cost method called SPICE composting for turning low value inputs into high quality biological inputs.

In this Quorum Sense hosted webinar, Gerry talks us through how he came to develop the SPICE method, provides practical tips on the composting process and how to apply the end product. He also discusses how waste is a human construct and we have a huge opportunity to transform much of what we consider waste into high value agricultural inputs.

"We all know a little bit, we've just got to all share what we know"

Gerry's website has a huge amount of information, including a detailed presentation alongside Dr Christine Jones and some information sheets that provide detailed instructions on SPICE composting.
