Request: Looking for feedback on the use of natural fibres in Ag and Hort

We are a sustainability-focused project developer working in the food and fibre sector.

Through a funded project, we are currently exploring coconut waste in the Pacific and looking at ways to combine the fibre's unique properties with organic waste here in NZ to mitigate issues like declining soil biodiversity, increased heat, flooding, drought and nanoplastics.

As part of our market research, into the potential of cocopeat and coconut fibre composites we would like to communicate with horticulturists who use growing mediums, weed matting and are concerned with soil erosion/health.
